Sometimes sold as the network calathea, this one's leaves carry a fine mosaic of yellow-green lines across a darker background, a pattern that looks almost hand-drawn. Like other calatheas it prefers steady warmth and humidity over a dry, draughty spot.
Keep the mix lightly moist rather than letting it dry out completely, and use rainwater or filtered water if your tap water is hard. A bright spot out of direct sun and away from heating vents keeps the leaves looking their best.
