A compact peperomia with thick, glossy leaves splashed in green and gold. Like most in the family it's a slow grower with succulent-style leaves that hold their own reserves of water, so it copes well if you forget to water it for a week or two.
Keep it out of direct sun on a bright windowsill or shelf, in a free-draining mix, and let the top of the pot dry out before the next drink. A neat, low-maintenance choice for small spaces.
