Heart-leaf philodendron is about as forgiving as indoor plants get. Deep green, heart-shaped leaves trail from the pot or climb a small support if you train them, with new growth appearing steadily through the warmer months.
It copes with a range of light levels, though it grows fuller and faster in a bright spot away from direct sun. Water once the top few centimetres of mix have dried out, and trim leggy stems back to encourage bushier growth.

One of the easiest indoor climbers; tolerates lower light than most. Free-draining potting mix; give it a pole or let it trail from a hanging pot.
