The classic peace lily, grown for its glossy dark leaves and elegant white flag-like blooms that appear on and off through the year. It's a dependable performer for rooms that don't get much direct sun, and one of the better flowering options for lower-light spots.
Keep the mix lightly moist and it will let you know when it's thirsty, drooping noticeably before recovering quickly once watered. A little feeding through the warmer months encourages more flowers.
