The Kentia palm has been a favourite indoor plant for well over a century, prized for its elegant arching fronds and its patience with the conditions real homes offer: low light, air conditioning and the occasional missed watering. It grows slowly, so this pot size will happily furnish a room for years before needing a bigger one.
Water when the top of the mix dries out, and grow it in a free-draining potting mix out of direct sun. A wipe of the fronds now and then keeps them glossy.
